Julie A. Chang studied classical ballet from early childhood through her teenage years. Her love of ballet continues to the present day with classical ballet as the foundation of her daily fitness regime. Julie is a dedicated supporter of the art with her twenty five plus years of patronage as a Guild Member of the New York City Ballet. Julie’s other passion is educating children – she currently teaches Enrichment Classes to 4 year olds and is the Class Parent for her daughter’s elementary school class. Julie can think of nothing better than spending her day with children and ballet.
Ana R. Dimas is a classically trained dancer. A graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts and the Tisch School at NYU, Ana has been involved in dance and movement for 25 years. For the past 4 years she has been teaching dance throughout Westchester, NY and the Bronx, NY. Ana has taught at public schools, private studios and community organizations. The children with whom Ana has been privileged to work span the range of traditionally progressed to severely challenged. From an early age Ana was drawn to dance for its power to ignite the creative and developmental spark in children.
Meghan Meehan received her Bachelors in Arts from Muhlenberg College in 2009 and her Masters in Fine Arts in Dance from Sarah Lawrence College this spring, 2015. She was trained in classical ballet from age 8-18, and has continued her dance training since in many other dance forms including jazz, modern, tap, African, and tarantella. Meghan has been teaching dance since 2004, and is very excited to be joining Bronxville Ballet as a teacher in the fall.
